Dear visitors, on this page you will find all the information about accessibility to the Impulse Festival and an overview of all provisions for disabled visitors. We are engaged in an ongoing process to make our festival as accessible as possible and we welcome your feedback!

TICKETS

Concessions
Under our ticket system, prices are divided into four categories that you are free to choose from. Concessionary tickets and lowest price tickets – also for attendants – can be booked without needing to present an official disabled pass.

Wheelchair places
To help us plan wheelchair places in good time, please contact email hidden; JavaScript is required.

Guide dogs
Guide dogs are welcome provided you contact us in advance via email hidden; JavaScript is required. You can book aisle seats by email or through our online ticket shop so that there is plenty of space for your guide dog.

Reaching the venues and access once you are there
The festival is held at a variety of venues. Full information about how to get to each location and accessibility once you are there can be found under “Venues”.


HAPTIC TOUR / INTRODUCTION FOR BLIND AND VISUALLY DISABLED PERSONS

On 10.6. at 19:00 we offer an introduction to the performance MAGDA TOFFLER. Versuch über das Schweigen by Boris Nikitin for blind and visually disabled persons.

On 17.6. at 20:00 we offer a haptic tour of the performance SZENARIO by Jan Philipp Stange.

After assessment by a qualified person, both performances including the supplementary tour are suitable for a blind/visually disabled audience without audio description.

TRANSLATION INTO GERMAN SIGN LANGUAGE

On 10 June we offer a translation into German Sign Language of the CITY PROJECT VERKEHRTE WELT by Turbo Pascal. To make individual arrangements please register by 30 May via email hidden; JavaScript is required.


AUDIO INDUCTION LOOP FOR PERSONS WITH COMPATIBLE HEARING AIDS

FFT Düsseldorf is equipped with an audio induction loop. All the performances presented there are accessible to persons with compatible hearing aids:

ACCESS TO THE VENUES

DÜSSELDORF

FFT Düsseldorf
The foyer, both theatres and the toilets are all accessible. A wheelchair-accessible toilet is also available. The FFT is located on the first floor at KAP1. This can be reached directly be elevator. 1. OG is marked in Braille and in tactile form on the elevator controls.

D´Haus / Central
The Central is accessible and has an accessible toilet. The staircase is fitted with a tactile guidance system, high-contrast steps and hand rails on both sides. There is a wheelchair-compatible elevator with sufficient room for manoeuvre.

tanzhaus nrw
tanzhaus nrw is at ground level and almost entirely accessible within the building. Only in the forecourt do rails and cobbles remain to tell a story of former times.

K20, Grabbe Halle
K20 is accessible.

There is step-free access to the venue and the toilets.

COLOGNE

Ottoplatz, Köln Messe/Deutz station
The performance takes place on the floor of a dodgem rink located on Ottoplatz. Moveable ramps are available to create a step-free route to the floor. There is no seating and the audience remains in motion during the performance. It is also possible to follow the performance from the sidelines. A wheelchair-compatible toilet is available at Köln/Messe Deutz station.
