This performance takes place outside. The venue is located in Gremberger Wäldchen, 51107 Cologne.
Access is only possible via an unpaved forest path and over uneven and overgrown forest ground. Along the way, tree trunks are climbed over (with support).

There are some seating facilities on site.

Spatial access

The FFT is located on the first floor of KAP1. You can reach the first floor by lift - the floor is marked in Braille and tactile on the buttons. The lift only stops on the first floor during regular opening hours (starting one hour before each event).

The doors in the FFT are not self opening and are sometimes very difficult to open. If you need assistance getting around the building, please speak to us on site or contact us in advance.

Once you are on the 1st floor, the foyer and the event rooms are accessible without any steps. Stage 1 has an additional gallery that can only be reached via staircase from the foyer.

Model house estate "FertighausWelt"

To take the joint festival shuttle from Düsseldorf, the meeting point is at FFT Düsseldorf.

Spatial access

This is a performative walking tour through a model housing estate. On the tour, you will go to the individual houses in small groups and climb stairs to visit all the interventions. The starting point of the tour can be reached by travelling together by shuttle bus.

Impulse Festival aims to deal with each other in a way that is sensitive to discrimination, and - within it’s own room for manoeuvre – to create spaces where everyone feels welcome and respected. At Impulse festival we work within a small core team. Should incidents occur during the festival, we will agree on a course of action depending on the individual case (possibly involving external counselling centres) – both on site and in the follow-up and together with those affected. Together with the venues' partners, we want to act as a point of contact for those affected and respond to possible incidents.

Everyone involved is responsible for ensuring a safe and respectful space that is as free of discrimination as possible. We therefore also ask you:

• Be careful with yourself, visitors and those involved in the festival.
• Act in accordance with the principle of mutual consent - an encounter will only take place if everyone involved agrees.
• If you feel threatened, harassed or discriminated against, contact the festival team on site (recognisable by their Impulse Festival buttons) or our colleagues at the ticket office (they will provide further information).
• If you notice that another person needs help: Please ask the person concerned. Don't do anything without being asked, but don't leave it to ‘the others’ to act either.
