Symposium

Show some attitude! Working together with talented young people and experienced stage professionals, FREISCHWIMMEN, the platform for dance, theatre and performance in the German-speaking region, and the initiative Cheers for Fears, the interdisciplinary network for young creative artists in NRW, launch a search for new resilient ways to develop emerging talent, and for community in times of isolation. In a two-day symposium we will share tricks and techniques for sharpening the most effective weapon against pressure and hostility – radical art. We will hear from voices from Europe and beyond, providing encouragement and important insights.

The Embassy. Berichte zur Lage in Europa

Following the General Assembly for a Beautiful Life at the beginning of the year, cultural creatives from NRW have continued to network with colleagues from other European countries. Their aim: to maintain a cross-border watch on the worrying developments in politics and society, remain in a position to speak out and take action, support each other and train resistance. It is high time to assemble again and assess the situation, because it is serious and requires us to keep going – remaining critical, solidary and, above all, together.
